31-year-old Ashley Graham appeared on the cover of the June issue of Allure magazine and promised that she would use her popularity to help others. The plus-size model is active in public work and supports women.

The star said that employers and fans have long believed it is simply a beautiful picture, and not  a human. “My body has always been treated as something that doesn’t belong to me. You’re hot. You’re naked. Men will worship your figure — hourglass,” Graham admitted in an interview with Allure.

Ashley became the heroine of the July issue of the magazine. She posed for the cover in a black bodysuit and a colorful sweater.
