Caitriona Balfe is a former top model. She started modelling at the age of 19: after her first contract was signed, Balfe raised money for charity at a local shopping centre. As an actress, Caitriona Balfe is known for starring Mollie Miles in the new Ford v Ferrari movie, the plot of which tells the story of a group of American engineers and designers led by designer Carroll Shelby.
Hoping to become an actress, Caitriona decided to study drama at the Dublin Institute of Technology. The first film starring Caitriona Balfe was released in 2009.
