Jatavia Shakara Johnson, better known by her stage name JT or @thegirljt, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter born on December 3, 1992 in Miami, Florida. She became famous as one of the members of the hip-hop duo City Girls, and in recent years has been actively developing a solo career.

In 2017, JT and Yung Miami released their first track “Fuck Dat Nigga”. In 2023, JT began her solo career, releasing the single “No Bars”, and in 2024, the mixtape City Cinderella, featuring the tracks “Sideways” and “Okay”, the latter of which reached number 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
