Online, the outfit was compared to the packaging from a Christmas gift (thanks to a combination of gold, green and white colors) and called the dress the worst at the ceremony. Several Twitter users came to the conclusion that the outfit beloved Alex Rodriguez and does look like a Christmas sweater Ryan Reynolds (memes were not long in coming).
Jennifer wore a 145-carat emerald and diamond necklace from Harry Winston around her neck, and the actress held a small clutch in her hand.
