Kerli is a 31 year old Estonian singer-songwriter. Kerli first appeared in 2004 at The Eurolaul competition with the song “Beautiful Inside”. Kerli debut album Love is Dead was ranked number 126 on the Billboard 200 chart in July 2008 and number 2 on the Billboard Heatseekers. In 2010, two compositions by Kerli, including a duet with Tokio hotel – “Strange”, were included in the collection of music for the film “Alice in Wonderland” Almost Alice.

In childhood Kerli was seriously engaged in ballroom dancing. At the age of 16 she dropped out of school to develop her musical abilities. As a teenager, she learned to sing, dance, play the piano.

In 2002 Kerli participated In the Laulukarussell song contest and won it with the song “Bridge over Troubled Water”. In the same year, she lied about her age to get the opportunity to participate in the contest Fizz Superstar, as to participation were allowed performers from 15 years.
