This weekend, Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered on a huge white carpet in front of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts Museum for the second annual ball. The museum building, designed by the legend Renzo Piano in Los Angeles, was pompously opened by Leonardo DiCaprio last year, and since then the event dedicated to his birthday has been wow-competing with both the Oscar and the Met Gala. And by the status of the guests, and by their outfits.
The Museum’s co—chairs — actresses Halle Berry and Lupita Nyong’o, producers Ryan Murphy and Jason Blum – made up the organizing committee, which also included George and Amal Clooney, Jessica Chastain and Regina Hall.
Actress and director Olivia Wilde was one of the first to appear on the carpet — and immediately hit the jackpot even from skeptical critics. The 38-year-old author of the painting “Don’t Worry, Darling” looked phenomenally without underwear in a “naked” and absolutely transparent Alexandre Vauthier dress in a silver shade with a hem of pink feathers, long sleeves and a sparkling scattering of stones.
It’s a pity that Olivia’s boyfriend, Harry Styles, did not appear next to her at this ceremony. The couple have been together for almost two years, but during this time they did not indicate their love status by joint appearance at the event. Even at the Venice premiere of the film “Don’t Worry, Darling”, which became fateful for them, they kept at a distance.
