Summer Britcher is an American luge rider born on March 21, 1994. Winner of the World Cup stages of the 2018/2019 season. Member of the USA luge team. Champion of the first youth Winter Olympic Games in 2012 in team competitions. In 2022, she is competing again at the Winter Olympics in Beijing as part of the U.S. Olympic team.
She studied Business/Corporate Communications at DeVry University, and in his spare time enjoys football, volleyball, reading and painting.
Summer Britcher started competing for the national team in various youth competitions. She won the team competition in the first Winter Olympic Youth Games in Innsbruck 2012, where she also took fifth place in the single races. She won a silver medal at the Junior World Championships, in the team competition in Eagles in 2014. She also won the World Youth Cup in 2009/10 and 2010/11.
